9:20 p.m. | There is a power outage affecting multiple buildings on the OSU-Stillwater campus. The Colvin Center has been opened for warmth. OG&E is working with Facilities Management on a problem with a substation.
10:10 p.m. | Reported affected buildings:

OSUPD emergency services are fully operational.
10:55 p.m. | Update
Facilities Management personnel are on site and have identified the tripped breaker. They are working to pinpoint the cause. The Colvin Center will remain open indefinitely until this issue is resolved. Additional updates will be provided as soon as they are available.
11:40 p.m. | Update
The fault in the electrical line has been located. Facilities Management is now focused on repairing the fault and reenergizing the system. At this time, we do not have an estimate on when power will be fully restored, but Facilities Management is working diligently to restore power.

Facilities Management has isolated the fault and is anticipating power restoration to impacted areas within one hour.
1:29 a.m. | Power Restored
The OSU-Stillwater campus experienced a limited power outage beginning just before 9 p.m. Friday as a result of a tripped breaker, which was later determined to be caused by a fault in an electrical line.
OSU Facilities Management worked diligently to repair the fault and re-energize the system, restoring power to affected buildings at 1:25 a.m. Saturday.
The Colvin Recreation Center was kept open during the duration of the power outage to ensure student safety.
