Campus Safety

The OSU Emergency Operations Center has been closely monitoring the weather data and has been in close contact with the National Weather Service regarding the impending winter storm. Current data indicates that precipitation will start in the Stillwater area late in the afternoon tomorrow. The storm is expected to last through the weekend.  

 

The EOC will continue monitoring the conditions and available weather data, and provide updates regarding any additional changes to campus operations. 

 

Campus operations for Stillwater, Friday, Jan. 23: 
Offices will be open and classes in session tomorrow until 5 p.m. All classes after 5 p.m. are canceled. 

Campus operations for OSU-Tulsa, Friday, Jan. 23: 
Offices will be open and classes in session tomorrow until 4 p.m. All classes after 4 p.m. are canceled.

 

• Employees and students who commute from areas to the south such as Oklahoma City should communicate with their supervisors and instructors should they need to leave campus early.
• Instructors should work with students who may need to make earlier travel plans.
• Classes that are scheduled in the afternoon should finish by 5 p.m. on the Stillwater campus and 4 p.m. on the OSU-Tulsa campus.
• Transit: The last BOB will run at 5:30 p.m. from Stillwater and 4:30 p.m. from Tulsa. The last departure for local transit buses from the Multimodal Transportation Terminal will be 5:20 p.m.
• The Edmon Low Library, branch libraries, OSU-Tulsa Library and the Stillwater Student Union will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Athletics: Men’s basketball will play Iowa State on Saturday in GIA at 3 p.m. Tennis and wrestling for this weekend have been canceled.
