OSUPD releases footage from Oct. 19

Friday, April 24, 2026

As we approach the six month mark since the Oklahoma State University Police Department (OSUPD) began its investigation into the October campus shooting, we want to provide an update and release initial response camera and audio footage related to the incident.

Note that the footage that includes one of the injured is at a McDonald’s that is located off campus. OSUPD responded to assist local law enforcement since no calls had come in at that time about any incidents  taking place on campus.

As we released previously, upon arriving at the scene outside the Carreker East residential hall, officers immediately determined all parties involved in the shooting had fled the scene. At Carreker East, there were individuals in a vehicle, and you will see on the response camera footage where officers ordered the individuals out of the car. Officers quickly determined they were not involved.

Since the initial call, OSUPD has conducted more than 75 interviews and pursued numerous leads in an effort to identify and charge those responsible. Despite these efforts, the investigation has been significantly hindered by a lack of cooperation from victims and witnesses.

OSUPD remains committed and will continue to follow up on all leads. We strongly encourage anyone with information to come forward so we can bring this case to a just resolution. Call the OSU Police Department at 405-744-6523 or use the live-chat feature on the Rave Guardian app. You can remain anonymous.
