The welfare and safety of Oklahoma State University students and employees are a top priority. OSU is forming a Pedestrian Safety Task Force in response to recent collisions resulting in injuries and one fatality.

Senior Vice President for Administration and Finance Joe Weaver will lead the task force, which will include the OSU Police Department, Facilities Management, the Stillwater Fire Department, and other university and community partners.

The group will study incidents in recent years, review police reports from collisions and develop recommendations to improve the safety of pedestrians in the campus community.
