The Oklahoma State University Police Department is advising students, parents, employees and the general public to be aware of a phone scam. Several individuals have reported receiving fraudulent phone calls that appear to come from an OSUPD phone number and the caller uses the name of an OSUPD officer.
Concerns are rising that a popular tracking device for valuable items could be used for stalking. Apple AirTags — which weigh less than an ounce and are an inch wide — can track a person’s keys, wallets, purse and more.
