Community Policing

Community policing is an integral part of creating a safe, secure and enjoyable campus at Oklahoma State University. It’s a philosophy that values community partnerships and relationships rather addressing crime in a reactive mode only.  

 

The Community Policing Program provides education, safety, and awareness presentations to many groups and organizations across campus, including future students and their families. Officers provide bicycle safety training to children of the OSU community and pedestrian safety tips to all. OSU police officers are encouraged to develop strong relationships with the OSU and Stillwater communities.
