Dispatch
When seconds matter, you want the right help as quickly as possible — and the Oklahoma State University 911 center makes it happen. As part of the OSUPD, our dispatchers are self-motivated multitaskers who value strong customer service skills. Many are graduates of OSU and all have an in-depth familiarity with the dozens of buildings and hundreds of departments on campus to get the right help to the right place as quickly as possible, 24/7.
Also, every dispatch center in Payne County is part of the same call management system, Solacom, so they can share detailed caller location information between law enforcement agencies and LifeNet, the local ambulance service. Solacom is another layer of protection for the Cowboy family.
Do you need to contact the OSUPD, but it might not be an emergency? Maybe you’ve seen
someone suspicious but you’re not sure. Or perhaps you locked your keys in your car
and need help. Call 405-744-6523 or chat with our dispatchers using Rave Guardian, OSU’s safety resources app. They’re
there for you just like the police officers, 365 days a year. Download Rave Guardian
in the Apple or Google Play app stores by searching for “Rave Guardian.”
