Emergency Operations Center

The OSU Emergency Operations Center is a state-of-the-art command center equipped with weather monitoring capabilities, access to university surveillance systems, and multiple communications systems for emergency and large-scale disaster response. The EOC provides a secure, protected area for the members of the OSU Emergency Operations Group to assemble, access up-to-date information and respond to any emergency. 

 

Officials with the EOC coordinate with OSU departments, local governments and the state to identify and mobilize resources before, during and after an emergency. The EOC provides decision-makers with the information and resources needed during an emergency to restore and maintain operations. The center staff work to improve the university’s emergency operation plans.
